Therapy for relational anxiety
Helvetica Light is an easy-to-read font, with tall and narrow letters, that works well on almost every site.
We'll have up to half an hour to talk - you can ask me questions about therapy and the way I work, and/or we can use the time for you to tell me a little bit about what's bringing you to therapy - if you're comfortable.
The first session is slightly different than our regular sessions will be, as there is some information we will go through together. This includes me taking some onboarding information from you (name, DOB etc) - and we'll talk through the way we will work together, including any goals you may have for therapy.
Sessions last 50 minutes.
Sessions can be weekly or fortnightly. For clients who have met their initial goals in therapy, I offer monthly sessions.
Yes — I offer both.
You’re welcome to work with me online from anywhere (aside from the US and Canada), or in person at my therapy room in Kent.
Sessions are £70.
I ask for 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full.
This varies for each person. Some people come for a few months, and others choose longer-term work. We’ll regularly check in to make sure therapy continues to feel supportive and meaningful for you.
Yes — everything you share is confidential and stays between you and me.
I have regular supervision with other qualified therapists where I talk about the work I am doing with my clients, but your personal details will never be shared and all details remain anonymous.
There are only a few exceptions to confidentiality (such as risk of serious harm to yourself or others or legal requirements), and I will always discuss this with you wherever possible.
Much of my work explores the anxiety and uncertainty that can arise in relationships. I often work with people who feel unsettled in their connections and want to understand themselves more deeply. Together, we look gently at the patterns and emotions that shape how you relate to others and to yourself.
That’s very normal.
You’re welcome to book an introductory call — they are free and there’s no pressure to continue afterwards. It’s simply a chance to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.
We'll also review our work together regularly, so we can openly discuss where you're at with therapy, including what you're getting from it (or not), anything you'd like to change and how the frequency of your sessions feel.
No preparation is needed. You can come exactly as you are.
Many people bring whatever feels present for them that week. Sometimes that can be a particular issue or something that has been on your mind, other times we might start with a bit of a recap of the week. In my experience, it flows from there.
